The ACWA 2024 Program is here!
The Conference Committee has worked to develop a terrific program with streams such as child protection and domestic violence, keeping families together and reunification, residential care, and hearing from First Nations experiences, services and initiatives.
This program incorporates a stimulating mix of presentations, panel discussions and masterclasses, supported by a dynamic line up of international and local speakers. There are plenty of social highlights as well, providing delegates valuable opportunities to network, renew connections and celebrate the work of our sector.
The Conference offers a high standard program for all professionals dedicated to protecting children and creating lasting change in children’s and families’ lives.

General information about the ACWA 2024 Conference
After a six-year hiatus, the ACWA Conference is returning on 5-7 June 2024 to showcase the critical work and latest advancements that will continue to drive positive change to the lives of vulnerable children, young people and their families.
The three-day event features a stimulating packed program with prominent international keynote speakers and an eminent lineup of local presenters who will share their knowledge, expertise and insights through the lens of the conference theme: Reimagining our Work with Children, Families and Communities.
The conference also offers a welcome opportunity for the sector to come together, share ideas and form new connections. A highlight of the social program will be the return of The ACWAs – the child and family sector’s very own Academy Awards at the sparkling Conference Dinner against the backdrop of Vivid Sydney.
